In accordance with the International Institute of Strategic Studies (IISS), which is a leading UK-based think tank, the issue of Dr. A. Qadeer Khan and proliferation networks rise is yet to reach the culmination of its course. As the dossier issued by IISS states, the case of A.Q Khan has not been closet yet.
The charges on Pakistan's A.Q Khan were based on questionable allegations such as whether A.Q. Khan sold North Korea and Iran the weapons that he designed and sold to Libya and even supposedly offered to Iraq. The very technology that the Pakistani had sold to North Korea and Iran is a matter of concern for international authorities as all of them consider this to be a menace to international security. In addition to that the dossier also claims that it would soon provide detailed analysis on the 'global enterprise' that A.Q. Khan is running apparently. In the light of the history of this issue, it states as to how A.Q. Khan brought stolen technology that could enable uranium enrichment from Netherlands before Pakistan actually developed a nuclear weapons capacity in ten whole years. For this he was put out of business by the Pakistan government who also brought changes to its nuclear mechanisms, nevertheless many people still think that the case is not concluded yet.
