I start expectant moms on good puppy food as soon as bred and continue through nursing. I prefer Eukanuba but there are some other pretty good foods out there. Just don't ever want the first ingredient listed on your dog's food to be corn..... (whole corn, ground corn....any kind of corn).... God did not give dogs the ability to digest corn.... It is used as a filler in dog food.... So when the first ingredient is corn.... Most of what is in that bag is corn. Sorry, off my soapbox now! Enjoy your new pups!
