Ben Callahan is a baseball player; he was a major league baseball pitcher Ben Callahan or Benjamin Franklin Callahan was born on the 19th of May in the year 1957. He was a Right Hander and was drafted in the New York Yankees in the 31st round in the 1980 amateur draft. He was later traded to the Oakland Athletics on June 15 in the year 1983.

Ben Callahan played four games for Oakland; his second outing was his best ever. On the 27th of June in the year 1983, he had pitched six innings and had only given up just one earned run in a 7 to1 victory which came over the Kansan City Royals.
