When Was The Last Time Mount Kenya Eruptedand What Was The Effect On The Population?

Mt Kenya and it's National Park which has been designated a World Heritage Site is 5,199m high and is a dormant volcano which was last active 2,5 to 3, million years ago.
Mount Kenya is the second highest mountain in Africa after Kilimanjaro.There are glaciers that still exist on the mountain and afro-alpine forests too. It is considered one of the most amazing natural sites in East Africa, and has a movement to preserve it, managed by the national parks service, and partially funded by the world heritage foundation.
Which promotes and protects natural sites all over the world.
