Sony Ericsson is equipped with security levels to ensure protection against any kind of unauthorized use. There are two codes in Sony Ericsson namely, PIN and PUK codes. These codes provide protection to your (SIM) Subscriber Identity Module card. The SIM card is a small chip like card which is present in your phone that establishes connection with your cellular service provider.

The only source to get PIN (Personal Identification Number) code and PUK (Personal Unblocking Number) code is your cellular service provider. If The PIN code is entered incorrectly three times, the phone will be blocked and you won't be able to use your phone until you have acquired PUK code (8 digit code) from your service provider. Once you have entered the PUK code, the phone will ask you to enter a new PIN code, and again the phone will prompt you to enter the new PIN code.
