How Did The Writing Career Of W.E.B Griffin Shape Up?

               W.E.B Griffin had served a part of his life in army. In 1951 he served in Korea as public information officer in support of US X Corps. After the Korean Conflict was over, he worked as civilian as a chief of the Publications Division for U.S Army at Fort Rucker located in Alabama. After the achieved success over the first three novels he had penned, he quit his job and continued writing novels. Now, Griffin has written a collection of 130 fiction and non-fiction novels.

               You can always find his knowledge related to the field of military in his novels. Many of the protagonists in his novels have to deal with bureaucratic mix-ups and prototype of the military system.

               He also received inspiration from Zeb Casey who is a Sergeant with Philadelphia Police. Griffin along with his friend Patton (historian) and Col/ Carlo D'Este (biographer) are the founder of a seminar institution located at Norwich University.
