The gripes of the officials of Sindh have not just stopped at the economic imbroglio that Sindh is incarcerated in. It goes a step further in repining about the report of the World Bank that declared Sindh to be a province, which is governed ineffectively and inefficiently and faces problems in maintaining law and order in the province on a very frequent and regular basis. Moreover the World Bank also stated that Sindh was high in the corruption arena and also had a weak public delivery service system. In addition to that, the report also highlighted the points of weak financial management, low-quality education system and the dearth of qualiy and sincerity in other service activities of the province. As according to the World Bank, Sindh's GDP is only 28 percent of the overall national GDP while the provincial economists claim that it is 32 percent. It is a debatable issue nonetheless that has not reached any conclusion. It is considered that the World Bank's criticism of Sindh was just a retaliation in disguise to Sindh's reluctance to accept the offers by World Bank and the Asian Development Bank of assistance (most probably financial assistance).
