'Soap' was a television series that first appeared on air in 1977 and ran until 1981. The creator and executive producer of Soap was Susan Harris, who also starred in a guest appearance in two episodes of the hit comedy show in 1978.
Harris played the character of Babette in Soap. Jennifer Salt (born on September 4, 1944 in Los Angeles, California) appeared in 45 episodes of the hit TV series between 1977 and 1981. She played the role of Eunice Tate-Leitner in Soap. Salt is the daughter of writer Waldo Salt and actress Mary Davenport. She is also on the team of screen-writers of the hit drama series Nip/Tuck.

A few members of the cast have gone on to become forces to reckon with in the American motion picture industry. Actor/comedian Billy Crystal, who played Jodie Dallas in 53 episodes of the show, spanning its entire four-year duration, has taken the Hollywood romantic comedy genre to a whole new level.
