Why Would Informal Channels Of Communication Be Dangerous?

Dear! Informal Channels of communication can be dangerous in business environment but in social environment sometimes it works as the relationship is very close. At the business point view as the business people know that if you want to get your work done then you have to be get formal with the concerned person otherwise just forget about the work done, secondly if you opt informal communication channel like verbal sayings instead of written emails, then your work done would be late. In business environment I would suggest that the people should go for the written emails what ever they want to say in relation to the work.
