What Were Kevin J. Anderson's Early Years Like?

Kevin J. Anderson was born in the town of Oregon, which is located in the state of Wisconsin on March 27 in the year 1962. He showed a keen interest in writing stories when he was still a schoolboy in the early part of the 1970's.

In fact, it was at the young age of eight that Anderson wrote a story called Injection, which was the first story he ever wrote. Writing soon became his passion and he bought his first typewriter when he was ten years old.

When he was a freshman at high school, he submitted his first short story to a publication.
However, one of his manuscripts was accepted a couple of years later. When he was in his senior year at high school, he sold a story for money.
