Is Disney World Better Than Disneyland?

Disneyland and Disney World are the two American Disney theme parks.

Disneyland in California opened in 1955, and a lot of people appreciate the fact that it was built in Walt Disney's day, and that he had a lot of input into the design and layout.

Whereas Disneyland covers a mere 180 acres, the more modern Disney World in Florida covers an impressive 30,500 acres.

A lot of the features of the original Disneyland, such as the Magic Kingdom, have been recreated at Disney World, but on a much grander scale.

However a lot of people love the fact that many of the attractions at Disneyland have been on the go for forty years. Particularly popular is the Matterhorn, which was one of the first steel roller coasters.

So, which is better? Disney World may be bigger and more modern, but Disneyland has the original charm of the 1950's world of Disney.

Perhaps the only way for anyone to really decide is to visit them both.

Well it is but the disneyland in ca is the first one ever built in the world but just bare that in mind !!!

Not to change the subject, and i could be wrong but i heard they might be putting in a disney park in hawaii!! Anyway i'd say the one in Florida cause its bigger and the one is California is just a little part in the city. But they are both good

I liked Disney World way better than Disneyland. Disney World has Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. Disneyland has well the disneyland park and Adventure park. I've been to both I personally liked Disney World way better. There's just alot more stuff to do a Disney World. So if you had to pick one park I would recommend you to pick Disney World in Orlando Florida.
