Is Online Data Entry Work From Home A Big Scam?

Answer Question

3 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Many people especially women are always looking for some work that they can do from home to earn extra money that is why there is a huge market created by job providers for such people who want to sit at home on their computers and work for online data entry services.

However many people also have the fear that this might be a scam and do not know what to do about it. It usually occurs because normal internet users can not differentiate between the normal data entry and online pay per click marketing data entry programs although many of these online data entry programs specially let people know on their website that the data entry opening is about advertisement word campaigns.

People can earn millions of dollars in a week by doing work for online data entry services from their home and once a person gets a hang of it, he can do really good work. However these data entry services require a person to give a registration fee before becoming a member but many people fear if they are doing the right thing or not.

The most common online data entry jobs for people at home include data entry services for banks or for home data typists. A person should carefully see the testimonials of the place he is registering with and thinking of working for so that he does not fall in to a scam.

I am interested in working from home doing data entry but very afraid about scams out there. Why do they want a fee and it varies?

A lot of these companies charge to do this because they are in business.  From what I have read is that this is a way for them to weed out the not so serious people.

It's tricky though because there are so many scams out there.

Look for money back guarantees, how often you get paid, contact information.  I have signed up for some that was a total scam, and the contact info they provided was not valid.

Do your research before putting out any money and you can find something great.

A good one that I have come across is dataprocessors.org you get a 7 day free trial then you can choose to pay the $25 one time fee.  You get 1-2 emails per day, you view the site given, and then fill out a form about the site.  About 5 minutes a day.  You get $10 for each one you do.  It boils down to $300-$600 per month.

        Good luck on your ventures.

I actually looked at this one. It says it is completely free to sign up. But you do not get paid to you make a 1000 dollars. You also have to pay once you join. You do not have to pay to join, but once you join to work you have to pay. You should not ever have to pay to work. Don't get scammed. Thanks
