    What Are Symptoms Of Cataracts?

My dog is biting at the air, like she sees something (but there is nothing there). Her eyes are also producing a lot of fluid and what I like to call eye gunk. I see a very very slight (if any) film over the pupil but it is hard to tell with the light.

You should take this dog to vet to get his eyes check up so that you can know what exactly it is. The major symptoms of cataracts are redness and swelling of eye and that cause eye vision problem and your dog is unable to see clearly.

You should see a milky film starting to form over the lens of the eye. Any changes in the normal appearance of the eye is a possible sign of cataracts. Also, look at the pupil, there will be changes in size and shape.
