Can A Landlord Dictate To A Tenant And What Kind Of Furniture They Can Own And Where It Is Placed?

My landlord says I have too much furniture and I should get rit of it.

    Of course not. Nobody has any right to dictate to anybody what to like and what not to like as long as it is not legally hurting or offending others.

      No. They have no right on what goes in the property, unless at signing contract they specified and you had a written agreement.

        I had a flat (apartment ) once and bought new blinds for the window, because they didn't match the other flats in the block the landlord wanted me to take them down. I refused as he couldn't make me.
