    For a multiplication problem such as this, it helps to rearrange or factor the numerators and denominators.
    (22/9)*(9/11)*(3/8)
      = (22/11)*(9/9)*(3/8)    (here, we have rearranged the 9s so we can see they cancel)
      = (2*11/11)*(3/8)    (here, we have factored 22, so we can see that the 11s cancel)
      = (3*2)/(4*2)    (here, we have factored 8 so we can see that the 2s cancel)
      = 3/4
