What Breed My Old Cat Was?

I wanted to know what breed my old cat was because I want another one. He was an outside cat. He was gray and black, black-tipped tail, black stripes, and he had the 'M' shape on his forehead. I tried looking it up and I came up with him being either a later generation Bengal or some kind of Tabby. Can anyone help?
