Could Someone Please Give Me Some Reviews Or Information About Good Motor Scooters?

I know nothing about scooters, but I was thinking of getting one. I want about 80 miles per gallon, top speed of about 50MPH and under at least $3,000. Any good scooters with these specs?

In the US many states let you drive a scooter without registration or license or insurance if it has under 50cc engine and a top speed of less then 40 mph. So that Is one thing to consider.

Other then that you should know that there are scooters with engines (2 cycle) that you need to mix oil with the gas and then there are scooters with engines (4 cycle) that are more like a car, oil goes in the crank case, just put gas in it and go. In general 4 cycle engines are quieter and more durable then 2 cycle.

The 80 mpg is easy, some get over 100 mph!

While you can buy cheap scooters for less then $1,500 you would be better off in the $2,000 range. This will get you a nice 4 cycle engine possibly water cooled (even quieter then air cooled!). Also stick to the big names, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki.

Two very good scooters are the Yamaha C3 and the Honda Ruckus. Both a little above $2,000. I have a C3, very nice for around town.
