Nice trays of all kinds of fresh fruits, strawberrys kiwi, mango, grapes. Also a nice cheese and cut up sausage station would be nice with assorted crackers.Shrimp platters are always very good too.You could also set up a small dessert station.

You can do tuna finger sandwiches, pigs in a blanket, pepperoni and cheese platter, cut a watermelon out and put fruit in it, depending on how many people you are expecting and how much money you are wanting to spend.  Good Luck.

You can try a wrap type ..you make the wrap it can be filled with all veggies or a mixture of veggies and a meat such as chicken breast cut up sea food..crab meat or shrimp once you have made and cooked your wrap you cut them to look like pinwheels and that is what it is called pinwheels...Good luck

Those wraps that bgirl talks about sound real good!  Also you can buy crabpuffs, mini-individual kieshes, bacon wrapped scallops, chicken wings with dip.

You can try edible arrangements. These are like flower arrangements but made with fruit. Everything is on a stick, so it's easy for guests to eat. I prefer things on sticks simply because it's cleaner on the fingers.
Savory foods: Swedish meatballs, pigs in a blanket, mini-kieche crab puffs, lobster balls, anything wrapped in phylo pastry.
Sweet foods: Fruit skewers, cream puffs, mini-tarts, lady fingers, palmiers, chocolate cups with filling, macaroons, meringues.
These are easy and elegant without being fussy.

Great advice, especially on the savory/sweet distinction. Also I'd look through http://www.gatheringguide.com/ec/caterers.html to get an idea of some menus and see if anything sparks your interest you havent thought of yet.

Congrats, if for an appetizer: Fresh fruit & vegetable trays,  stuffed mushrooms,  mini-potato pancakes, mini-quiche, crab meat wrapped in bacon, pepperoni and cheese tray.

Cucumbers and cheese straws and if you want a finger food desert pete fours are always a hit. Good luck and congratulations!
