    Industrial technology basically is a stream of study planned to arrange technical or management oriented experts for service in business, industry, education and government.

    Industrial technology is mainly concerned with the organization, function and maintenance of multifaceted technological systems while engineering and engineering technology is chiefly implicated with the aim and setting up of these systems. Quite a few colleges offer degrees in this stream, generally in electronics, safety, constructions, computer systems, production and graphics. Industrial Technology comprises of a wide-range issue and can be seen as a merger of industrial engineering and business topics with special importance given to practicality and administration of technical system.

    The National Association of Industrial Technology, NAIT, recognize special collegiate programs in Industrial Technology.
