Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Propositional logic is made up by the logical combinations of sentences. It is a type of a logic system, could be formal, mathematical or symbolic, which theorizes or summarizes the formation of statements out of their context so as to launch an abstract norm for uniformity and authority. Symbolic logic is that area of logic which deals with propositions in terms of units along with their respective groupings and the connectives which link them to each other. It is basically the study of symbolic abstractions that arrest the formal characteristics of logical conclusion.

Historically, the structure of propositional logic was learned by logicians from the medieval period, which was later advocated by the Stoics.

Symbolic propositional logic involves factors like the exclusion of meaning from elements.
