    If your credit card is nowhere to be found or stolen--and then is used by a big name with out your authorization you do not have to pay additional than $50  (or in other currencies wherever you use the credit cards) of those charges. This security is provided by the federal reality in Lending Act. You do not require buying "credit card insurance" to envelop amounts over $50.  

    If you find out that your card is misplaced or stolen, report it straight away to your credit card company. Call the toll-free number listed on your monthly report. The company will abandon the card so that new buying cannot be complete with it. The company will in addition send you a new card.  

    Create a record of your account information and the companies' phone numbers. Keep the list in an in safe hand. If your case or purse is nowhere to be found or stolen, you will have all the numbers in one place. Take the record of phone numbers not the account numbers with you while you are in journey, just in case a card is misplaced or stolen.
