How Far Apart Are Leap Years?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Every fourth year is a leap year.  Technically the length of a year is 365.25 days, so that extra quarter of a day each year adds up to one full day every four years.

That's right. But every hundred years, I think to remember, they skip one leap year because it's not exactly 365.25 days either.
