What Is The Most Important Part Of The Computer, Software Or Hardware?

A computer is made up of two components, hardware and software. Both components are important and have its own significance. A computer is actually a combination of hardware and software. We can relate a computer with a human being. If we see ourselves, our appearance which is our body, works as hardware and our mind, thought and according to our thought, the actions we perform is the software which is working inside. The simplest definition of hardware is the thing which we can touch and software is the thing which we can't touch but only feel.

What is most important, in my view no one can exist without each other. Hardware can't work with out software. The manufacturing companies make the hardware for specific software.  A software can't work on every hardware so manufacturers make every hardware in collaboration with the software company. The specific software is system software, without it no hardware can run.

For example, Microsoft Windows XP is system software, it can only work on the hardware which support Microsoft Windows XP. Now a day the hardware companies make such a hardware which can support a number of system software to increase their demand. What is most important, we can say both have equal importance and make a complete product.
