What Are Signs Of Depression In Children? Is It Similar To Ones In Adults?

I was just wondering!

In a way yes, they are usually quite, withdrawn, they tend to weep all of a sudden, they don't enjoy the things that they use to do.  Sometimes they will act out over the silliest things, sometimes anger will set in and will shut themselves in their room all day.  If you know a child who shows these symptoms is better to try to talk to them to see if they will open up to you.  When a child gets bullied at school sometimes they will show signs of depression.  Try to play a game with them the that they like to see if they will talk.  If not try talking to the child's teacher or maybe the school counselor.  I hope that this will answer your question.

I definitely agree with the above answer. Young children, like 10 and under shouldn't be depressed like adults are. There's an underlying issue such as bullying, sexual, verbal, or physical abuse.
      Sorry about the bad spelling
