How Are Pit Bulls With Small Children?
We're wondering if you get a "good natured" pit bull, is it reasonable to think it will be safe around small children?

Pit bulls are naturally great family dogs. But most importantly make sure you get one from a good bloodline. And I don't mean a chanpionship one, I mean a family raised and owned, Can they tell you the personality of the parents? Grandparents? Make sure they is no inbredding. It is aooo common and what causes alot of the aggression problems. Also get one as young as you can. Let the kids paly with it as much as possible and teach them how to treat and respect the animal. My Daughter is 11 now, but she was one when I got my baby Ruby and still to this day they sleep together. When she was one or two she could pull that dogs ears for hours and Ruby wouldn't care. She loved it. She came from a well known breeder in my hometown that alot of people I knew knew. That is very important. Hope this helps.

I wouldn't trust a pit bull with any child or adults that killer instinct is always in their blood no matter how well they are trained.

Pit bulls are vicious animals. Didn't you hear about that LITTLE girl who was randomly attacked by two pitbulls. Pitbulls are smart animals that can kill you quickly by biting your stomach, neck, and around your thighs, basically where your veins are. Pitbull that have been around you and your family for their whole lives are the only ones who wont be vicious toward you.
