Is A Ghost Considered A Living Thing Or Dead?

It is a dead thing but the spirit lives on

Similar to the first answer,  while the body from which the spirit came is dead the spirit lives on in a spiritual realm.
This is a very good question which could lead to another one. While many do not believe in God or the reality of eternal life, they believe in ghost. Go Figure!

The answer is energy never dies..it can be altered or changed..but that energy still lives on..in my opinion..and boy have i seen proof..i am a sensitive and a ghost hunter, some spirits linger on on this plane...usually because un resolved issues with their lives...the soul is pure energy...so i guess the term is undead

I would say it's the  'un-dead'.
It's a spirit which came out of a living thing.
But yet, moves and thinks like it's alive.

So inbetween, which I'd class as Un-Dead.

I say dead.  The body dies but the spirit is eternal.

The energy can continue with some people, it isn't because of unfinished things that they stay, sometimes the energy is residual, where it  plays out the same every time, and others are spirits that can interact with people. Though they are passed away from the Earth, the spirit can and does live on. Hope this helps.

Well,,,,,,ghost's r separate creatures,,,,,,they aren't the spirit of the dead body.........as in ISLAM,,,,,,I MEAN IN OUR RELIGION if you just do some research you will find out more about them,,,,but i think if you think too much about them or if your interested then they might attack u,,,or take over u,,,& this z true & i have seen it my my eyes,,,some one being attacked by the ghost,,,,anywayz,,,wish you all the best bye,,,,
