When Can You Separate The Sow And The Babies From Each Other?

My guinea pig just had babies and i was wondering when you can separate the babies from the sow

    As with all animals I have had, I usually separate them as soon as the young started to eat on their own.

      Usually about six to eight weeks. Sometimes you'll notice that the babies can eat hay and pellets probably around six weeks old.
