What Is A WeeMee?

A WeeMee is an avatar which is used for instant messaging and on sites such as Friends Reunited.

WeeMees are used to create a cartoon version of yourself for other people to view. You can customize a WeeMee to look like yourself by browsing through various hairstyles, face shapes, clothes, eye colours and so on. You can give your WeeMee a facial expression to show people how you are feeling, or perhaps to reflect your personality. You can select hobby pictures to go with your WeeMee, which will give others an idea of what you are in to at the moment. You can also give your WeeMee a background (this option isn't available on Friends Reunited. The WeeMee is always displayed without a background).

You have to pay a fee to create a WeeMee on MSN Messenger, but it is free to create one on Friends Reunited. On Friends Reunited, you can use your WeeMee to create gifts, and download it to your mobile phone for wallpaper or to send to others. Whilst you don't have to pay a fee for creating and displaying the WeeMee to others on the site, you do have to pay to create the WeeMee gifts and to download the WeeMee to your mobile phone (£1.50).
