Why Is It Best To Plant With A Full Moon?

I am curious if planting during a full moon has anything to do with gravity of the full moon being different somehow?

I think it is actually while the Moon is waxing, and just before the Full Moon, that is the best time for germination. Some tests of this have been done by Rudolf Steiner's Biodynamic 'school' of agriculture.

It is hard to pinpoint the reason, but it isn't to do with the moon's gravity alone. The lunar phase is due to the relative positions of the sun, moon and earth.

Superstition mostly coming from earth based religion such as Druidry and Wicca. New moons were the end but also the most auspicious time to begin something new.
