Can I Open Another Bank Account If Another One Was Closed?

Answer Question

If you closed the account without oweing the bank money (i.e. Charged off account, overdrafts, Nonsufficient funds) then you should be fine. However, if you owed the bank money, you will have to repay any debts before ANY bank will open the account for you because you will be placed on Check Systems which is a system where all banks can view where you owe money and why your account was closed which many banks will not allow you to open an account at their institution until the debt has been repaid or resolved. I hope this helps! :)

You should be able to open as many as you like.  People do it all the time.  Of course I'm assuming that there was nothing out of line with the one that was closed.
