There are many musuems dedicated to Charles Dickens. These are:
The Charles Dickens Museum: This is located in London and was Charles Dickens home from 1837 to 1839. Here, he wrote famous novels such as Oliver Twist, Nicholas Nickleby and The Pickwick Papers (his first novel). This museum is the only surviving house in London that Charles Dickens owned. The museum has lots of Dickens memorabilia, including paintings and manuscripts and original furniture. The museum holds lots of events, including readings of the author's works, and handling sessions, where vistors are allowed to use various items related to Charles Dicken's, including his quill pen.
Charles Dickens' Birthplace Museum: This is where Charles Dickens was born, and is located in Portsmouth.
The Dickens House Museum: This museum includes letters written by Dickens and is located in Broadstairs, where a festival dedicated to the author takes place every year. The festival first started in 1937.
