Horses have been around for the past forty five to fifty million years and the first descendant of the horse was called the Dawn Horse or the Eohippus. This was the first horse that ever walked the earth and was about the size of a dog. They lived in the Northern Hemisphere, in places like Asia, Africa and North America. Hope this helps. :)
