    Microsoft Office is a collection of productivity programs. It is created and purchased by Microsoft and developed by Microsoft Windows. Productivity programs are creative computer application. There are several types of productivity programs. Microsoft XP is a version of Microsoft office. It has all the features of previous Microsoft Office versions. Microsoft XP was released in the year 2002.

    It is a combined set of Microsoft XP or 2002 products. It can be used for as well as several office purposes. The marketing mantra for Microsoft XP was it would enable you to work smarter, faster and more creatively. Microsoft Office 2007 for Windows is the more updated version of Microsoft Office. Microsoft Office 2004 for Macintosh is another current version of Office. Another version Microsoft Office 2008 is expected to be released in second half of 2007.

      Over the last few years Microsoft has developed various application software and different version of operating systems. Since the introduction of GUI (Graphical User Interface) in the form of Windows 3.1, various operating systems have been introduced like Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP and now the Windows Vista. On the other hand Microsoft has also launched different software development tools such as Visual Basic along with some of the application software as well.

      Microsoft Office XP is one of the application software available in the market today. Microsoft Office XP includes a variety of application software like MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, Ms Excel, MS FrontPage and MS Outlook. All of these software are designed for various office work. For instance MS Word is a word processor that is being used for document and letter typing, formatting and for many other purposes like Mail merge.

      MS Excel is known as spread sheet that is being used for the calculation of values and for small scale account management. MS Access is a database for storing data in the form of tables. MS PowerPoint is a powerful presentation tool used with multimedia projectors and Ms Outlook is used for mail receiving and sending with storing feature as well.
