Is There A Way To Get Another Registry Other Then APR?
I have a year old Chihuahua. Told from the pet store he was a pure breed. Got APR registration. Told from a friend that was no good. Is there any way I can fight to get him registered with akc or ckc.

It depends and may cost you more than what the dog did in the first place. I have never heard of this APR registry but that does not necessarily mean it is fake. Have you talked to the pet store about this? Where you going to breed the dog and do you like it? Just because your Friend said it is no good does not necessarily mean that the dog should be trashed and is substandard!

But my friend worked for a breeder. And I looked into APR.
They go off of what the breeder says the breed is and don't
have to have proof. I wanted to breed him but I have never had a
dog let alone a pure breed(or so APR says). I"ll never get rid of
him I just don't want to go to some breeder and they don't want to
breed with him cause he's not what they call papered. APR has no
standards. Anyone can register with them no questions asked.
