Where Is Norwich?

Norwich is a city in the county of Norfolk in England. It is the administrative headquarters of the county of Norfolk. It is located in the region of East Anglia in eastern England. Norwich covers a total area of 39.02 square kilometres. It is ranked 322nd in the country in terms of area. According to a population census conducted in the year 2005, the population of Norwich is 127, 600. It is ranked 149th in the country in terms of population. The density of population of Norwich is 3, 270 persons per square kilometre. About 96.8 per cent of the inhabitants of Norwich are white. Norwich is the twin city of four other international cities, namely Rouen in France, Koblenz in Germany, Novi Sad in Serbia and El Viejo in Nicaragua. Admiral Horatio Nelson was born in a town called Burnham Thorpe bear Norwich, and attended the Norwich School for a year between 1767 and 1768.  

Norwich is a city located in East Anglia, in the eastern part of England. It is also the administrative centre in the regional area of Norfolk. The suburban locality in the city extends over and above its borough limits, with densely populated places on nearly all the sides, mainly the area of Thorpe St. Andrew.

It houses the University of East Anglia which is just outside Norwich. This was one among the New Universities that were established in the year 1963, resulting from the Robbins Report.

Every year the Norfolk and Norwich festival commemorates the arts, attracting many visitors into the city from all across the eastern region of England.

The forum is a structure that is designed by Michael Hopkins and partners was inaugurated in order to house the millennium library which was a substitute for the Norwich central library which was ruined. This is a popular venue to hold exhibitions and other events.
