How Do You Pull A Bearing From A Swamp Cooler?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

If a swamp cooler is what i think it is you should be able to pull the motor fairly easy and press the bearings out after opening the case and taking the armiture out depending on the design some have bearings that are clamped in and can be removed by simply loosening the clamps and pulling the bearings...i didn't think people still used them ...the one we had you would put a bag of ice in a stainless pan and turn it on .it would blow cold air for almost 8 hours before having to add more ice...like i said i did not think people still used them today...
