Your dog needs to be on a very low fat diet to attempt to prevent triggering another attack of pancreatitis. Often prescription diets are the best choice. Most store brands to too high in fat--even the low calorie or weight loss versions--and may not be balanced. Talk to your veterinarian about the appropriate diet for your dog. Your veterinarian knows your dog's case the best and can give you the best advice.
