When Was F. Scott Fitzgerald Born?

           It was in the year 1896 in the month of September when F. Scott Fitzgerald was born and the date was 24th. The state where he took his first breath after coming out of his mother's womb was Minnesota and the particular place was St. Paul. But one of the ironies of almost all great people that was repeated with him also is that they have very short lifespan; F. Scott Fitzgerald died in the year 1940 at the age of 44.

           One of his relatives was the author of the national anthem of USA called Francis Scott Key and Mr. Fitzgerald was also named after him. But the name with which he was known by his close friends was Scott and in his childhood he spent his time in Buffalo, New York; it was his father who had his job there with Procter & Gamble.
