What Are The Long Term Effects Of Flooding?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

There are lots of effects of flooding, long term effects might include LOSS OF IMPORTANT BUILDINGS and the city or Village may struggle to repair these especially since the rest of the city or Village will need looking at. For example: With all the water in the village/town/city DISEASE is going to be a big problem especially if sewage pipes have been damaged in the flood Medicine will need to be imported . Also if a Village school is badly damaged government will spend money making sure it is reopened as soon as possible .  Also since personal property will be damaged government will need to find ALTERNATE HOUSING  or living facility for the homeless.  Also FOOD AND WATER SUPPLIES WILL BE SCARCE.
