How Do I Know Who The Manufacturer Is For My Motherboard? All I Am Seeing In The Setup Screen Is Award Phoenix BIOS. What Do I Do?
Answers
Knowing a motherboard's manufacturer is a bit tricky and needs some extraordinary knowledge to keep track of who manufactured the motherboard. There are many ways around here; to know some of them are easy but not 100% accurate and some are
difficult comparatively but accurate 100%. There are many softwares available to tell you the manufacturer of the Motherboard and the Chipset it has.
This should also be kept in mind that the whole motherboard is not manufactured by a single manufacturer, but many parts made by different manufacturers are connected together to make a Motherboard. But the one who made the Performa/Structure of the Motherboard will be called its manufacturer.
To find the manufacture of your motherboard with Bios phoenix, you will need to know the codes which usually appear when you power on the system and that is Called Bios ID. Each Bios ID has some meaning.BIOS ID (= BIOS Number) which identifies the manufacturer and chipset of the board. Phoenix BIOSs, in most cases, do not. Some of the most commonly used Motherboard Manufacturer Bios Codes are listed below:
