How Can Someone Make Comments In My Shout Box When They Are Not On My Friends List?
I have had several comments that were puzzling and needing clarification but I could not question or comment in response to their shout box because"I was not a friend"? Now, why is that since they were allowed to comment in my shout box and were not on my friends list?

Go to the top of your page and you will see account and then scroll down and make the change there is says friends only or all . If you only want friends then click on friends only and then they have to ask to be your friend.

Just get your shoutbox to privacy option. Then only your friends will be able to see and post shouts on your profile.
To get shoutbox in privacy option, go to control panel and click on Privacy tab. Under that there will be Shoutbox options, set it to Friends only.
