    England attracts many tourists due to its history and its rich heritage. Some of the heritage cities in England are, Oxford, Cambridge, Bristol, Bath, Salisbury, Portsmouth, Brighton, York, Canterbury and Dover.

    Oxford and Cambridge are famous for their Universities. Oxford University is one the oldest University in the world. Bristol's is famous for the beautiful Clifton Suspension Bridge and the SS Great Britain ship, which were designed by local legend Isambard Kingdom Brunel, Berkely Castle and the historic Dyrham Park. In Bath, tourists can see the most famous hot bath tubs that the Romans built during the 1st Century.

    In Salisbury one can find the famous Salisbury Cathedral and the pre-historic site of Stonehenge. In Portsmouth tourists can witness the famous ships Mary Rose and HMS Victory. In Brighton, one can see the exotic Royal Pavilion built by the Price of Wales who fell in love with Brighton's sea shore. York is known for the Gothic minster. Canterbury is famous for the cathedral, St Martin's Church and the ruins of St Augustine's Abbey. Dover, famous for its white cliffs and is a port city.
