    It is always fun to have sugary treats but really only once a day. DESSERT! That is really what it is meant for. The rest of the day they should be eating healthy snacks.When they eat dinner make sure they have all of the food groups. Meat(steak,hot dogs,hamburgers,and maybe even lobster),Dairy(milk,cheese, but NOT ice cream),Fruit and Vegetables(apple,salad,tomatoes0,and we can;t forget wheat(maybe just eating a sand which (wheat bread)

      Ideally, no snacks at all. But what fun is that????!!!! Pretzels are good....the regular kind. Very low or no fat. Veggies like carrots dipped in a low-cal dressing, if you must. ;-) Nuts...(but not the real salty ones) because, although they contain fat, there's very good for you. Think low-calorie and low-fat and the list is pretty long.

      Forget potato chips, Tostada's, Pringles, Chex Mix, Beef Jerky, and all those highly-salted high-in-fat snacks that are like "chum" to our brains...calling for us to overeat. It is all about money, you know.
