Can A Computer Work With Out A Disk Drive?

      Yes, in fact, you can run without all but one of your drives and it doesn't matter which.  Without a disk drive though, it will be difficult to download programs.  If you have anything Windows 2000 and later (or pretty much any MAC) you can just use a jump drive or portable hard disk to exchange information with other computers.
