The system of cat's eye is very intricate and many diseases and problems can impinge on it. The most common eye problem amongst cats and kittens is Viral Infection. It is highly infectious and it is very difficult to completely do away with the virus from their body. Because of this, they can have get eye infection repeatedly.

Cat or kitten eye infections can be treated with eye ointments including Terramycin. You need to apply little quantity of ointment in the infected eye, twice everyday for about two weeks. However, in some cases the infection can be very severe and needs expert care. You may apply this ointment in your kitten's eye; if it gets healed, well and good, but if it does not, take your kittens to the vet without any delay.
