    Rectal bleeding in aged dogs like yours can be due to cancer of GI tract while in young dogs it can be due to intestinal parasites. Occasional rectal bleeding is not matter of great concern but persistent bleeding can be due to fallowing conditions.
    1. Constipation
    2. Colitis
    3. Inflammation of rectum
    4. Rectal polyps
    5. Rectal tumors
    6. Bleeding disorders
    7. Anal fissures
    It will good to see a vet for differential diagnosis and most accurate treatment.
