Cinnamon is supposed to be a great supplement to aid in weight-loss, as it supposedly speeds up your metabolism.

Cinnamon is great because it regulates your blood sugar. All you really need is around 1/4 teaspoon a day. For something like this, it would be better to use it in the whole food form. Add cinnamon to your yogurt, smoothie, oatmeal or even coffee. I would recommend only using a supplement if for some reason you don't like the taste of cinnamon. Otherwise, enjoy the flavor in your daily meal of choice!
