    Easter Road football ground is located in Leith in Edinburgh. This is Hibernian's i.e. the Scottish football teams home ground. It is said to be the largest in the whole of Edinburgh and the seventh largest in Scotland, The stadium has a capacity of seating 17,500 people.

    Although it is primarily used for football, in the recent years it has come to be used for a series of other sports and purposes as well. It is often refereed to as the 'The Leith San Siro' by many. Since 1991 it has under gone a lot of redevelopments and changes. Many believe that this has happened sue to Sir Tom Farmer's administration. The football ground record attendance was in the year 1950 when there were close to 65,860 people in the stands. Its growing popularity has only led to the improvement in its financial position.
