Why Am I Still Having Gall Bladder Attacks After My Gall Bladder Has Been Removed (5 Years Ago)?

I had my gall bladder removed 5 years ago. I am still suffering from symptoms (abdominal pain) or gall bladder attacks.

    40% of the peoples face gall bladder symptoms after the surgery because in the absence of gall bladder, bile is continuously being put in to the intestine which can cause gall bladder symptoms. Discuss this with your doctor to manage this. For more details, visit Gall bladder surgery.

      Very good question!&tbsp; I had my gall bladder out 23 years ago, and I still have pain.&tbsp; You really should see your doctor to rule out any medical cause, such as gallstones in the duct or&tbsp;damage from the surgery.&tbsp; Personally, I know few people that haven't had complications from having their gall bladders removed.&tbsp;
