What Is The Book “Silent Melody” All About?

Mary Balogh is one of the most successful authors of all times. She has written the book called "Silent Melody" in the year 1997. This is the third out of the four books to be published in the same year.

In this book, Emily Marlowe and Ashley Kendrick were good friends during her childhood days. They had spent some of the best moments together. Emily could not believe and forget the fact that Ashley went to India and got married to girl when she was very small. Presently, she is now engaged to some other man. Ashley comes to know about this when he returns back after his wife died. He is shattered and unhappy. Emily is very happy as her love is revived but Ashley harbours one of the darkest and dangerous secrets and she is now not able to speak and hear.
